- Outline of marketing campaign surrounding the route-based experiences
- Specific marketing messages/tactics to promote the experiences
- Annual evaluation to keep the experiences accurate and up to date
For destinations and Byways that would like to develop experiences for specific Byways:
Byway Experiential Road Trip Development
- Detailed research of the Byway towns and the visitor experience at each major location
- An original inspiring introduction to the overall Byway experience intended to motivate travelers
- An original thematic story with an introduction and original copy describing each attraction location to be included in the story
- A comprehensive selection of images to illustrate the Byway, the story and each attraction
The Byway Web Presentation
- Each Byway is featured with the original description and slide show on a dedicated Byway page, which links to a specific Byway story(ies) page
- Each Byway story page incorporates a featured illustration, a description of driving the Byway and up to 10 attractions with images and original descriptions featured in order of importance.
Visitor Ready Itineraries
Each itinerary is compiled in an attractive, four-color pdf for ease of use. Each story page is linked to a detailed visitor-ready itinerary organized into specific days of travel, including:
- An introductory story
- Description of driving the Byway
- Description of each town along the route
- Descriptions and images for each attraction and town organized in geographic order with specific information to facilitate visiting including address, telephone number, hours of operation, cost, and time to allow to visit.
- Accommodation suggestions for destination distinctive lodging with breakfast included in appropriate locations (B&Bs, Inns)
- Restaurant suggestions for both lunch and dinner in appropriate locations
- Other information to make traveling easier for visitors
- PDFs of walking tours as appropriate are included with each itinerary
